How to merge PDF files into one
Combine PDFs in the right order, then fix the usual problems: wrong page order, locked files and huge results.
Skip the reading. Use Merge PDF.Smash several PDFs into one. Free, no sign-up, nothing uploaded.→Step by step
- Open Merge PDF and drop in all the files at once.
- Use the arrows to set the order. The top file comes first.
- Click Merge and download the combined PDF.
Common problems
- "Can't read file": it's probably password-protected. Open it, enter the password, and save or print an unprotected copy first.
- Pages in the wrong order inside one file: merge first, then fix it in Organize PDF.
- Result too large to email: run the merged file through Compress PDF.
- Mixed page sizes: each page keeps its original size, which is normal. Most viewers fit each page to the window.
Finishing touches
Merged documents often benefit from page numbers, especially for submissions, bundles and court or tender documents. Add Page Numbers does that in one step.
