Privacy, minus the legalese
Your files
Every tool on I Hate PDF runs inside your web browser. When you pick a file, it is read by code on your device, processed on your device, and the result is saved back to your device. Your files are never uploaded to our servers, so we can't see them, store them, or lose them. Close the tab and they're gone from memory.
Passwords
Passwords you type into Protect PDF are used on your device to encrypt the file and are never sent anywhere.
Usage analytics
We record anonymous usage events, such as which tool was opened, whether processing succeeded, how long it took and roughly how big the file was. This tells us which tools to improve. These events never include file names, file contents, passwords or your IP address. If Google Analytics is enabled, it sets its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
Accounts
There aren't any. We don't want your email address.
